Audrey Sycz

Audrey Sycz has been performing professionally as an exceptionally gifted and accomplished dancer since 2004. She toured and traveled the world while performing and for thousands of people aboard Holland America Cruise Lines. During the seven contracts she completed, Audrey traveled to five continents, including Australia, Africa, North and South America and Europe.  Additionally, she became a magician assistant, perfecting the craft for DV8 Reality Magic and Master Illusionist James Cielen. Included were all contortions and illusions, along with showcasing her aerial expertise on the silks and Spanish web. She was also a featured dancer for the Elton John impersonator, Joel Mason. For six years, Audrey danced for the production company Stiletto Entertainment based out of Los Angeles, California. Her professional performing credits also include Vitamix’s annual corporate meeting, Time Warner Cable’s holiday party, Sesame Street Live, Dancing for a Miracle, The Walt Disney World parade, National Gymnastics competition, The NFL Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival and the Urban Jamm faculty show. Audrey continues to dance professionally around the United States and uphold her astonishingly diverse reputation.

With over 25 years of dance training, Audrey been guided by and continues to study with some of the most prestigious dance teachers around Cleveland, including Karen Colabianchi and Dee Hillier. She attended the University of Akron and studied ballet, modern and jazz. Audrey continues to travel to New York City to study at Broadway Dance Center often to expose herself to the latest trends and techniques in dance. In the summer of 2011, Audrey attended the world-renowned dance teacher conference, Dancelife, hosted by Rhee Gold. She had the opportunity to study with more than 18 of the industry’s finest teachers and choreographers. She consistently attends dance classes, conventions and conferences to further her education.

Audrey’s extensive teaching and choreography repertoire began at the young age of 15. She currently teaches master classes all over Ohio and has previously around the world. Audrey’s teaching and choreography credentials include the CCA Ohio Ballet Day, teaching and assisting for the In-House Dance Convention, administering professional auditions at Stiletto Entertainment and company auditions with multiple dance studios, Show Choir choreography for North Royalton Middle School, choreographer for the North Royalton Royalettes, choreographer for Guys and Dolls musical at Midpark High School, dance teacher at numerous preschools in the Cleveland and Akron area, as well as at over 10 dance studios state wide. Her immense experience, intensified knowledge and enhanced practice of Yoga, Pilates, Budokon, Kempo karate, personal training, cheerleading and superior aptitude of anatomy, kinesiology, strength and conditioning have helped Audrey construct a physically fundamental, thorough warm-up and class. She consistently implements proper technique, which prevents both life-long and short-term injuries. Fittingly, her choreography has developed into an innovative, cutting-edge, ingenious style and art form of its own. She continues to win numerous awards for her extraordinary choreography, which began in early 1995. Audrey is extremely passionate, motivated, ambitious, and enthusiastic about her love of teaching dance. Adding to her remarkably complex background, Audrey is also a personal trainer, artist, designer, and makeup artist specializing in stage and theatre makeup.
